Scottish meteorite hunter Rob Elliott is set to earn a big payday when he auctions off 170 meteorites from his 1,000-strong collection.

Each piece has been valued but are ‘priced to sell’. Lucky meteorite hunters can snap up a bargain, with prices starting at as little as £50.

Alongside the meteorites will be the Salyut 7 helium tank, which fell from a Russian space station into Buenos Aires 10 years ago and peppered with tiny craters from shooting stars.

Celebrity buyers have bought products from Mr Elliott’s site in the past, including Michael Jackson and Uri Geller.
