13th-century statues of Virgin Mary found underneath church floor

A French enameled statue of the Virgin Mary which dates back to the 13th century has been found underneath the floor of a church in Denmark. Archaeologist Hans Mikkelsen from the National Museum and a local craftsman were sifting through the soil under the church floor when they made the find.
